Manufacturer warranty

1. Scope and duration

We grant a voluntary manufacturer warranty of two years from the date of purchase on our products. Where a longer or more comprehensive statutory rule applies in the country of purchase, that rule prevails. The warranty is granted by Moin Spatz Products GmbH as the manufacturer to the person who bought the product new and unused.

2. What the warranty covers

The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship that were already present at handover or that occur within the warranty period during proper use. If such a defect exists, we will repair or replace the product at our choice. If neither repair nor replacement is possible or reasonable, we will refund the purchase price.

3. What is not covered

The warranty does not cover, in particular:

• normal wear and the natural ageing of materials, covers and colours;
• damage caused by improper use, overloading, accident or dropping;
• damage caused by not following the user guide, incorrect installation or incorrect use;
• damage caused by improper cleaning, care, storage or transport;
• modifications or repairs not carried out by us or without our consent;
• products for which purchase cannot be proven by a proof of purchase.

4. Conditions

Please check the product for completeness and for material or manufacturing defects immediately upon receipt. Keep your proof of purchase for the entire warranty period – it is the basis of any warranty claim. It is also a condition that the product has been kept clean, handled properly and used in accordance with the user guide.

5. How to make a claim

In the event of a warranty claim, please get in touch via our contact form. Describe the defect as precisely as possible and have your proof of purchase and – if available – the batch/serial number printed on the product ready. We will get back to you with the next steps.

6. After an accident

After an accident a child seat may have damage that is not visible from the outside. For safety reasons a seat that was installed in the vehicle during an accident should be replaced and not used further. Such accident-related damage is not covered by the warranty.
